• As a healthcare analyst, Anya uses statistical modelling and analysis to provide insight to questions regarding public health. Anya is particularly interested in exploring health and social inequalities and is proficient in wrangling, analysing, visualising, and presenting data in R. Her work has enabled clients to make informed decisions and to impact change in healthcare and in her local community through volunteering.

  • Anya previously worked with an NHS Trust completing routine reports and projects such as developing a new Performance Reporting framework. There she implemented an R programme for automating workflows and for data analysis to support the Trust in delivering patient care. Anya led training sessions and created documentation to explain statistical and data science concepts, building capacity within the team to develop the R programme further. Before this, Anya completed a MSc in Data Analytics with a focus on statistical theory and methods and a dissertation exploring the relationship between depression and deprivation.
